Basic Keto Bread

 

A gluten-free, sliceable, toastable bread to help you stay keto-true.

Ingredients

5 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature, divided (or ghee, for paleo)

6 large eggs, lightly beaten

1 1/2 cups almond flour

3 teaspoons baking powder

Pinch salt

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, use an electric handheld mixer on medium speed to combine the eggs, almond flour, remaining 4 tablespoons of butter, baking powder, and salt until thoroughly blended. Pour into the prepared pan.

  2. Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.

  3. Cool completely on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
