Cannoli Tiramisu

Two of Italy's iconic desserts in one.

Ingredients

1 cup whole milk ricotta

1 cup heavy cream

2 ounces simple syrup

2 ounces Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur

7 ounces ladyfingers

7 ounces Luxardo cherries (half a jar)

1 cup chopped pistachios

1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Using an electric mixer, mix ricotta and cream for 1 minute until well combined.

  2. Combine simple syrup and Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur in a shallow dish. Lightly dip half of the ladyfingers in the liqueur mixture and line them up side by side across the bottom of a loaf pan.

  3. Pour half of the ricotta mixture on top of the ladyfingers. Sprinkle half the cherries, pistachios, and chocolate over the ricotta mixture.

  4. Dip the remaining ladyfingers in the liqueur mixture and repeat to create a second layer over the cherries, pistachios, and chocolate. Top ladyfingers with remaining ricotta mixture. Then garnish with remaining cherries, pistachios, and chocolate.

  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours. To serve, drizzle a little Luxardo cherry syrup (from the jar) over top.
