Korean BBQ Sauce
The perfect condiment for your Bulgogi Empanadas!
Ingredients
3/4 cup coconut sugar
1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
1 tablespoon Gochujang paste
2 teaspoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon ginger paste
1 tablespoon garlic paste
2 tablespoons honey
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon water
Instructions
Combine coconut sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, Gochujang, sesame oil, ginger, garlic paste, and honey in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium high heat, stirring frequently.
Whisk cornstarch and water together in a small bowl until the cornstarch dissolves; then add it to the saucepan.
Stir for about 30 more seconds then reduce heat to low. Cook an additional 4 minutes and set aside to cool.
