Mashed Potato Patties
Left over mashed potatoes? Not any more!
Ingredients
1 cup mashed potatoes
1 /2cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup minced mini sweet peppers
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
Mix mashed potatoes, flour, peppers, egg, and garlic salt together in a bowl and form 4 patties.
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. When oil is hot, place patties in the pan and fry on one side, undisturbed, for 5 minutes. Flip patties and cook on the other side until golden, about 3-4 more minutes. Transfer patties to a paper towel-lined plate to drain and sprinkle with salt.
