Bacon Wrapped Green Beans
A simple side dish, as well as a savory, any-time snack!
Ingredients
16 green beans, trimmed
8 slices bacon, cut in half lengthwise (16 bacon strips, total)
Olive oil cooking spray
1 teaspoon chili lime seasoning
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400F.
Place a wire rack on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Spray wire rack with olive oil cooking spray.
Spray green beans with a light layer of olive oil spray. Sprinkle green beans with chili lime seasoning.
Wrap one bacon strip tightly around each green bean, creating a “candy cane” striped pattern. Place bacon wrapped green beans onto the wire rack.
Bake for 10 minutes. Use tongs to flip each bacon wrapped green bean over and bake for an additional 15 minutes, until the bacon is fully cooked.
Broil bacon wrapped green beans for about 90 seconds to achieve maximum crispiness.
