Spiced Banana Bread

The Spiced Banana Bread is the perfect way to start every morning!

Ingredients

3 very ripe bananas

1/4 cup coconut oil, melted

1/4 cup milk

2 eggs, beaten

1 teaspoon almond extract

3/4 cup almond flour

3/4 cup hazelnut flour

3/4 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup brown coconut sugar

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1 cup sliced almonds

1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

Nonstick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°. Mash the bananas well. Add the eggs, coconut oil, milk, almond extract to combine.

  2. In a separate bowl, combine flours, coconut sugar, baking powder, and baking soda, then incorporate into the wet ingredients.

  3. Fold in the almonds and the pumpkin pie spice. 

  4. Apply a light layer of cooking spray to a 9x5 bread pan, then add the batter. Bake for 45-50 minutes. Remove bread from the oven and allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Invert bread on to a cooling rack to cool for a few more minutes, and enjoy!!
