Triple Mac Tostadas
Because the Big Mac Tacos on TikTok are basic. And we think this is way better. Plus less napkins!
Ingredients
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon sweet relish
1 teaspoon yellow mustard
1/2 teaspoon white vinegar
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
6 ounces lean ground beef
6 flour tortillas street/mini size preferred
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
6 slices American cheese
1 cup shredded iceberg
12 sliced dill pickles
6 teaspoons diced onion
Instructions
In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, relish, mustard, vinegar, sugar, paprika, garlic powder and onion powder; set aside.
Place 1 ounce of beef on top of a tortilla and press the meat into an even layer, flattening to the edges. flat. Lightly season with salt and pepper. Repeat with remaining beef and tortillas.
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Once the oil is shimmering, add three tortillas, beef side down. Cook without moving until the beef is browned and fully cooked, 2-3 minutes. Flip the tortillas and reduce the heat to medium low.
Top each with a piece of American cheese; cover skillet a lid for about 1-2 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the tortillas are crispy. Transfer tostadas to a cooling rack and repeat the process to cook the remaining 3 tostadas.
To serve, place one tostada on a plate. Top with 2 sliced pickles, a drizzle of sauce, a little shredded lettuce and a teaspoon of diced onion. Top with 1 more tostada and toppings. Invert the third tostada so that the crispy tortilla is on top. Drizzle sauce on the crispy tortilla and top with shredded lettuce, onion and pickles to complete one Triple Mac Tostada.
Repeat to plate second portion.
