Homemade Italian Sausage

 

Back in the old country, people had to make their own Italian sausage. But they just called it sausage. Eyyy ohhhh eyyyy!

Ingredients

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon red wine vinegar

2 teaspoons dried parsley

1 teaspoon sugar

2 teaspoons fennel seeds, crushed

3/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon ground sage

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon red chili flakes

1 pound ground pork

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients except ground pork in a large bowl.

  2. Add ground pork and gently mix to combine.

  3. Cook 5-7 minutes over medium heat.

  4. Increase heat to medium high to brown, about 3 minutes. Depending on how much fat is in your pork, you may need to add a little more olive oil.
