Italian Nuggets
Your favorite childhood dinner, Italian style - mangiamo!!
Ingredients
2 chicken breasts, cubed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup marinara sauce
1 tablespoon Calabrian chili paste (or substitute sambal oelek)
2 tablespoons chopped flat leaf parsley
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Season chicken with salt and pepper.
Combine flour and Italian seasoning. Toss chicken in seasoned flour, ensuring a light dusting on all sides.
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté until golden, about 8-10 minutes.
Combine marinara sauce and chili paste in a small serving bowl.
To serve, sprinkle parsley and Parmesan over the Italian nuggets and serve with Calabrian marinara for dipping.
